Sketchtravel is a unique international charity art project. This red sketchbook was passed from one artist's hand to another like an Olympic torch in an artistic relay through 12 countries over 4 and half years. Now the book is complete and it will be auctioned on Oct 17th 2011 to benefit the non profit Room to Read

Early Dice
Daisuke Tsutsumi, our incontrovertible Sketchtravel Leader is in this small group show in San Francisco, "Early Bird Painters’ Show"
2/20 - 3/9 at Studio Gallery
1718 Polk Street Bet Clay and Washington
San Francisco, CA
415-931-3130
This is a show of 11 artists who all have day jobs (mostly at Pixar) but wake up early to do a quick morning painting session before they go to work. It’s a small gallery but you can see some nice pieces by dedicated artists. If you know some artists in Paris, able to wake up so early to do so, please tell me :-)
(Sorry for being so late to mention this exhibition, I forget to talk about the opening which was last saturday) When you see Dice's paintings, you can imagine how great will be his upcoming contribution in the Sketchbook (man, what a pressure, isn't it ?)
